Today is another day in beautiful South Carolina. The boys are loving being at Mamaw and Papaw Meltons. Uncle Brad brought them a load of sand to play in and boy have then been having a blast. Today Mamaw gets to baby sit while I go to the doc. Tiff is doing fine and feeling everybit of 6 months pregnant. We are hoping to return to Honduras before he/she arrives but who knows. Kendrick was 2 weeks late and Kaleb was 2 weeks early. We had an ultrasound before leaving Honduras. The doc said it was a girl then as he looked a little more he said it was a boy then decided he didn't know for sure so we are still left guessing. Tiff likes the surprise but I can't stand the wait but I may not have a choice. Well, that is how it is for today. More later ;-)

Family 2

Here are some family pictures that were taken while at Tiffany's parents in Ohio.

Daniel & Tiffany

Kendrick (5 yrs old) & Kaleb (2 yrs old)

We are glad to be home for a time. It is amazing how things have changed while we have been away. We arrived in Atlanta on the 7th of April in time to go to IHC, then on to Bedford the EFM headquarters where we spoke for a convention. Right now we are in South Carolina enjoying the wonderful weather here at my parents place. We have been visiting churches along in our travels to raise some much needed support.

People waiting to see what kinda gifts the First Lady brought to give them. ;-)

What a crazy time this was! There was estimated to be around 3000 people that came to see the President and First Lady. We had 3 days to prepair for this visit. It all started as Tiff and I were fixing to drive off for San Pedro (2nd largest city in Honduras) to do some purchasing for the clinic and to buy goceries etc. The phone rang and it was the mayor (Francisco Cruz) and he informed us of the desire to have the presidential visit and wanted to know if the mission property was available. We said yes and so the work began! It was a very exciting time and we have memories that we will never forget.

This is our radio station "Radio Light and Life". It has been in operation for around 28 years. Our frequencies are 1600 AM and 3.25 MHZ short wave.

Thank the Lord for the help given with our “Light and Life” radio station. For some time there has been some interferences in the afternoons around 3 miles out from the station. We tried many things to resolve the problem. Lastly we installed around 24 copper ground rods around the tower and around the radio station building and then tied it all together. We also installed a new antenna system with the help of Carlos and Edwin (some technical men who work with Christian radio and are helping us with the maintenance of our transmitters). In doing all of this our people are back to hearing the gospel message at distances farther away than even before we started having the difficulty. Do help us pray about a situation though, a radio station south of us which has the same frequency (1600 AM) as we do and are planning to install a transmitter with more potential than ours. With this they can cover up parts of our radio signal here in Santa Barbara. We are very grateful though for the opportunity to spread the gospel through radio.

Maria Ester is our afternoon radio operator.

Our console gave up the ghost after a lot of good use. The month of Dec and Jan we made a drive for the local people to help update some equipment. With their help we were able to purchase this console, do some work on our ground system and AM antenna. I am joined by Adonay Sanchez, he has been such a blessing to our radio station. He is our station manager and organizer.

Rainbow over our AM radio tower ;-) It was cool!

More pictures of the service at Ipacayalito. There was a great group of around 150 people packed into this little church. They were in special revival services with national Church president Elmer Perdomo.

A church we visited last night in Ipacayalito. It was such a wonderful sight. These are seven new converts who have been through the church doctrine class and were baptized in the afternoon yesterday. Each one of them testified and it was a joy to see them telling what the Lord had done for them.
My sweetie on Mothersday with Larisa Robberts. She was helping set the table.
Mothers Day and Zech (fellow missionary) mixing up Brownies ..... mmmm good!
We have enjoyed a little over a month in the USA with family and friends. It was sure good to see everyone again. Also we were able to visit IHC which was such a blessing. Now we are back in Honduras and glad to be home. We arrived in San Pedro Sula the 9th of May and Zech & Sarah Robberts met us at the airport. It sure was good to see them again and that includes their little daughter Larisa. Now that we are back in the swing of things I will try to keep more update pictures up on the blog. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to leave comments. ;-) Daniel
